How we can help

Rick Bailey has been training dogs for over 20 years and has clients all over the United States

Rick is a certified trainer and behaviorist with over two decades of professional experience and a lifetime of dog ownership. His focus on the relationship of the dog and owner is the foundation for his incredible success. He loves working with the most demanding and difficult cases because he has found those to be some of his most rewarding. The occasional dog bite only motivates him to work harder!

Rick has trained every level of dog there is. From well-behaved family companions to top-level working dogs for clients with unique physical challenges. He and his staff have and continue to produce the highest quality companion dogs, therapy dogs training, ESA dogs, and working dogs.

Identifying dogs that will work

Finding dogs is not a problem. There are many sources for dogs. However, finding dogs that can meet the criteria for our clients is the challenge.

Rescues, Fosters, &
Reputable Breeders

With the thousands of dogs that we have trained, we have seen just about every possible scenario. We know how to select the right temperament and maximize a dog’s innate abilities to yield a trusted, loving, and dependable companion to help with each clients’ particular needs.

Over the years we have developed great relationships with many rescues and breeders. We have chosen to continue working with only the best, most ethical, and reliable partners because our clients’ standards are as high as our own. We absolutely love finding a great rescue, training, and matching that dog with a loving family. Every rescue we bring into our program provides an open spot for another dog who needs placement at a shelter or foster home. We have found that sourcing exclusively from rescues can present challenges however, as it can be difficult to meet the demand for quality and quantity.

The difference between us and similar organizations is the fine-tuning in training and partnership with the best breeders and rescues around. Having the ability to choose from a variety of quality sources allows us to better match people with a dog that best fits their needs.

Pairing Candidates
with Dogs

We match the right dog with the right person and the right person with the right dog!

Just as important as selecting good quality dogs is to our program, we are equally selective about the placement of our dogs with the right clients. We thoroughly interview the applicants who apply for our programs. We also train our clients on how to get the most out of their dogs. Our training is about the relationship between you and your dog, not just learning a few tricks.

Our goal is a lifetime bond of love and support for all involved, people and dogs!

Therapy dogs for
visits to facilities

In 2019, there were nearly 200,000 emotional support animals in the US, up from 2014 where there were merely 2,400. American across the country are realizing the immense benefit associated with emotional support dogs.

Researchers and experts agree that pets excel as therapeutic agents and that dogs are an antidote to depression. Studies have shown a decrease in both blood pressure and stress levels during therapy dog visits. A visit from one of our therapy dog teams can break the daily routine, increase overall emotional well-being, and stimulate the mind in dramatic ways. Our therapy dogs offer so many wonderful benefits to people of all ages such as:

  • Bringing joy and laughter, even if for a short time
  • Taking a person’s mind off personal problems, aches, pains and worries
  • Getting people to share their emotions and stories
  • Giving a chance for people to communicate with others
  • Lowering stress levels and blood pressure
  • Rekindling warm memories of their pets

Continuing Care
& Support

The work doesn’t stop after a few weeks of training. Our commitment is to the lifetime relationship of these dogs and their owners.

We continue to train and support our clients and their dogs throughout the years. From in-home visits to refresher courses at our facility, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest quality of service.

Regular training is a key part of any happy and healthy dog’s life. In order to keep your dogs performing to the best of their abilities, they have to practice both new and old tricks for life. Athletes don’t simply stop practicing once they’ve reached a certain level, and neither should your dog.

Of course, our dogs aren’t born knowing how we’d like them to behave. While most pet owners begin training early during puppyhood, not many of them continue to make training a vital part of their dog’s life well into adulthood.

Unfortunately, dogs, much like humans, are susceptible to forgetting. Without regular reinforcement, they can forget even the most basic of commands and slip back into old, unwanted, and destructive habits. For a dog, training is like learning a new language. If you learned a new language in high school, but then never practiced, you would forget how to speak that language eventually.

Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of benefits to training your dog each and every day. Regular training sessions can be a great way to brush up on old skills, reinforce wanted behaviors, curb boredom, or teach some new, fun tricks.
