Changing Lives one Paw at a Time

Rick started LoveDog Inc. with the dream of creating a training company that was unique in every way.

Rick earned his BA in child psychology and worked as a child behavioral therapist before creating LoveDog Inc. in 2001. Rick’s passion for dogs and helping others has been the driving force behind LoveDog Inc, which has grown from a local small business to working with clients all over the country for the past 20 years.

Rick’s wife, Brandee, shares the same passion. She has been fostering and volunteering with dog rescues for over 25 years. She was previously the Director of Operations at the largest cage free, no-kill rescue in the United States before coming to work with Rick in 2018.

One of the benefits of running this company together was seeing the positive impact that their dogs have made in the lives of so many clients. With the incredible success of LoveDog, Inc, Rick and Brandee were still very passionate about the growing unmet need for canine support across the nation and knew they could make a difference in some way.

So many people with medical needs go without help in our country. This happens due to the lack of financial resources it takes to train a legitimate service, ESA or therapy dog. Our goal was to develop a strategic plan with a philanthropic division of the LoveDog, Inc. training and boarding business, and that is how “The LoveDog Foundation” was born.

We have a very special program close to all of our hearts called “The LoveBug Project.” With this program, we provide fully trained support dogs for children with special needs and/or medical illnesses at no cost to the family.

We would love your support in sponsoring, donating, or spreading the word so we can help as many people as possible.
